Priscilla Kumari: “The Alpha Course was an eye-opener for me. The biblical concepts explored in the talks were something that budding or new christians could easily grasp and appreciate. I enjoyed interacting with other group members. Not once did I feel out of place. I looked forward to coming to these classes. The group discussion with other members also helped me to clear some doubts about whether some things we do are actually right in the eyes of the Lord. The Alpha Retreat was a bonus when discussions about the Trinity were further explained by [the speakers]“.
Irene Tay: “I was a non-Christian. Before attending the Alpha course, I really did not know anything about God. On a few occasions, I have been searching and asking myself ‘Who is God’… Since I attended the Alpha course, there is an inner peace and also a strong sense of forgiveness for people. Most wonderful of all is that now, I notice and appreciate the beauty in nature that God has created for all of us.”
Anthony: “I didn’t expect the warm welcome I received, the interesting discussions or the lack of pressure to speak in the small groups that followed. I found that I could express any doubts about Christianity, and that my opinions would be respected. If I had an issue with something, I had a forum to voice it with no need to apologize.”

Guanwen Lee: “The Alpha Course was a real eye opener. It really lived up to its tagline – No questions are too silly or difficult. Although I didn’t ask many questions, some of the questions that my group mates brought up somehow addressed the issues in my heart.”
Jasmin Chng: “For me, it was not only to know Him more, it also set a starting point and a guide for me to continue to build a close relationship with Him. I was so touched by the hospitality of the brothers and sisters of the congregation as well as the pastors, not to mention the magnificent feasts we had for every session. I thank God that through this course I have come to know so many brothers and sisters in Christ and being able to join a care group where we share our experiences and encourage each other.”
