Its been a busy week at work but finally found the time to upload some of the photos and videos we took of the second Alpha Course that Latreia, my care group, organized. Most of the multimedia stuff is pretty amateur but hey.. it can only get better with time and practice or when we identify the appropriate professionals willing to volunteer their time *hint hint* 
Also managed to put up individual pages for the individual Alpha Courses organized by alpha@wefc so that we can list and thank all the people involved in each course as well as place all related media on those pages. The individual pages for past Alpha Courses will come up over the next few days and the page for the current Alpha Course, Alpha III, is a work in progress.
Watch out for the photos and videos we’ll be putting up after each event.

Initial work on the alpha@wefc website hosted on wordpress.com is complete and we will soft launch it at the Dinner.
Meanwhile, we start work on modifying and populating the wordpress blog installed on the church’s servers and getting it installed with the necessary components so that the look and feel is similar to what we get on wordpress.com. Its a steep learning curve as i dust off the dusty IT brain cells and skills as we go about installing wordpress, manipulating mysql and php, css, installing software, plugins, themes, getting familiar with CPanel etc.. the list goes on.
Things getting a little exciting… The Alpha Dinner is 4 days away and we’re up to 42 guests, not including the people they invited as well as people from the current alpha working group helping out that evening.
Coincidentally, the word ‘PRAY’ is 4 letters long.. hmm..
Pray
- that God will provide more of his divine opportunities for people to invite people they know within their sphere of influence to the Alpha Dinner.
- that God will cause those invited to think about attending and to actually turn up.
- that God will prepare the hearts of those who attend the Dinner to receive His Word and speak to them.
- for the different people involved in the organisation of the Alpha Dinner. This is their first time running an Alpha Dinner and they are learning on-the-job.
- that God will bless and inspire them that they might deliver His Message.
- for God to make His presence real to all present that evening.
